Holder of a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona and member of the Barcelona Bar Association. She obtained her Advanced Studies diploma from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and her research proficiency in the doctoral programme in the Information and Knowledge Society (2003).

She has been teaching courses on corporate taxation, labour law and occupational health and safety at the UOC since 1999. She was assistant to the vice president of Faculty and Academic Organization(2006-2008) and to the vice president of Faculty and University Policy (2009). She obtained the Government of Catalonia's Jaume Vicens Vives Distinction (2017) for university quality for her leadership in the development of internships for assessing professional skills in an e-learning context.

Mar Sabadell-Bosch is a professor at the UOC and a researcher of the UOC's DigiBiz Research Group. Her research is focused on two main areas:

1) the interplay of ITC usage, work, and modes of flexible and remote work, including health and safety requirements and corporate responsibility in telework; and

2) the intersection of e-learning and quality in the contexts of online practices and the assessment of professional competencies.
