Neus Rotger is associate professor of Comparative Literature in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and guest lecturer at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She is a member of the Global Literary Studies Research Lab (IN3-UOC) and the principal investigator of the global novel research line. She is also the principal investigator, together with Marta Puxan-Oliva, of the funded project "The Novel as Global Form. Poetic Challenges and Cross-border Literary Circulation" (Spanish Research Agency, PID2020-118610GA-I00).

Her research focuses on novel theory, comparative literature and cultural history. She has been a visiting researcher at the Center for the Study of the Novel (Stanford University), the Centre de Recherche de Littérature Comparée (Université Sorbonne-Paris IV) and the Department of Rhetoric (University of California, Berkeley). Her writings have appeared in Studies in the Novel, Journal of Global History and Revue de Littérature Comparée, as well as publications from Peter Lang, De Gruyter and Amsterdam University Press.
