His teaching and research focus on the fields of conflict, international relations, geoeconomics and geopolitics.
His lines of research deal with comparative politics and international relations between Mediterranean countries, and analyse issues related to conflict, mediation and conflict resolution, and nuclear policy in the Near East. He is also pursuing research into comparative economic policies and the analysis of the energy policies of the BRICS countries and leading international agencies from the geoeconomic and geopolitical perspective.
