His teaching is focused on courses related with social science methodologies and analysis and assessment of public programmes and policies in different programmes given by the Faculty of Law and Political Science.
His research activity is concerned with studying the impact of the implementation of ICTs in politics. His research interest has focused on understanding the transformation of existing political parties and the emergence of new political parties, as well as how the communication environment has impacted the forms of political communication, organization and the ways in which members take part in political parties. More specifically, his research has focused on analysing the forms of online policy deliberation on the social media or on the platforms offered by the public administrations or political parties to encourage citizen or member participation.
