Holder of a bachelor's degree in Business Computing Engineering from the University of Lleida (UdL). He also holds a degree in Market Research and Techniques (Marketing) and a master's degree in Education and ICTs (E-learning), both from the UOC.

European assessor for the EFQM model of business excellence. From 1999 to 2014, he was director of the UOC's Master's Degree in Quality Administration and Management. From 2010 to 2012, he was director of the UOC's MBA and Global Executive Education programmes. From 2012 to 2014, he was director of the UOC's Business School programme. From 2014 to 2019, he was director of the Master's Degree in Innovation Administration and Management. Since 2019, he has been director of the UOC'S MBA and Global Executive Education programmes. He has supervised master's degree and postgraduate projects since 1999. Since 2010, he has been a member of the teaching staff at the UOC's Faculty of Economics and Business, where he teaches courses on quality management, strategy, innovation, digital transformation, information systems and project management. Previously, he was a management systems consultant and auditor, and a quality, innovation and ICT project manager in a number of companies and organizations. 

He is a member of the Innovative Tools for eLearning (GO2SIM) research group, which focuses on creating and disseminating teaching innovation methodologies and tools. His research interests are related with business administration and management, innovation, digitization, and aspects related with e-learning. He is enrolled on the UOC's doctoral programme in Education and ICTs (E-learning). He has participated as a speaker at a large number of seminars and congresses, both in Spain and abroad.
