Isaac González Balletbó's R&I activity focuses on the study of school segregation and other mechanisms that reproduce intergenerational inequality. He also conducts research on the sociolinguistic landscape in Catalonia. 

He is a member of Language, Culture and Identity in the Global Age (IdentiCat), an R&I group at the UOC.
