The research and innovation activities of Daniel Blanche-Tarragó focus on examining the intersections between political and social participation among various generations—with a particular emphasis on older people—and the communication processes enabled by digital technologies.

Blanche-Tarragó has been involved in studies on online social movements, the political inclusion of older individuals in digital societies, the social connectivity of older adults, age discrimination processes, and cultural differences in the consumption and handling of disinformation on social media.

He is currently working on his doctoral thesis on the activism of older adults, considering biographical, social, and technological factors.
