Feed2Learn focuses its research on improving teaching and learning from an educational psychology perspective in environments making intensive use of virtual technology and online environments, at all levels of education and in different situations requiring lifelong learning.

More specifically, if focuses on three key aspects of the teaching/learning process, which are mutually complementary:

1. Feedback and assessment as drivers of learning and, specifically, in writing processes, on the understanding that, in online environments with asynchronous communication, writing becomes an indicator of learning.

2. Analysis of interaction as an element contributing to the development of learning competencies.

3. Teacher training.

The results can be directly channelled into improving teaching and, specifically, into improving learning in an online environment.

The effect of feedback on collaborative writing

The study goal of this line of research is to identify the most effective forms of feedback in an online environment. We regard writing as a learning tool and it is therefore by means of writing that students can build knowledge. In this regard, teacher or peer feedback provides educational support to help improve the writing process.

4 - Quality education

Formative assessment and feedback

This line seeks to create indicators to help improve learning assessment in online environments, on the understanding that assessment and feedback mediate how we teach and how we learn: metacognitive and self-regulation skills on the part of students, personalization of feedback in massive online environments, teacher workload when assessing, implementation of feedback during the teaching-learning process and its channels (video, audio, written text, etc.).

4 - Quality education

Teacher training

This line of research focuses on the analysis and development of teaching skills in online learning environments (methods, implementation of changes in teaching practice, etc.).

4 - Quality education

Interaction in online teaching and learning environments

Analysis of the communicative exchange (interaction) between teaching staff and students in online environments.
