Aging in Data (AiD) brings together an interdisciplinary network of scholars and community-based activists and organizations to research the intersections of age studies, communications/media studies, and critical data studies. The proposed SSHRC partnership consists of 19 partner organizations and 34 co-applicants and collaborators from ten countries in Europe, North America and Australia. Aging in Data is led by Kim Sawchuk, Concordia University Research Chair in Mobile Media Studies, Concordia University. The primary research goal of the partnership is to investigate aging in an era of unprecedented digital data-gathering.
