Vall-Llovera Llovet, Montse

Researcher Montse Vall-llovera's work focuses on the study of the use, appropriation and consumption young people make of information and communication technologies (ICT). It also looks at the methodological tools used for their analysis as well as gender and technology studies.

They are interested in the overall combination of meanings that the young collectively build in these practices and their relationship with the building of their identity. At the same time, they place special emphasis on analysing and discussing the methodologies employed in study of and research into new virtual and presential spaces for relationships provided by ICT, and the use made of them.

She is a founder member of the JovenTIC (YoungICT) inter-university (URV-UAB-UOC) research group headed by Dr Adriana Gil Juárez (URV).
