José Israel Reyes held a Master's Degree in educational psychology. His expertise is grounded on teaching and learning methodologies both in elementary and higher education. His research interests include promoting inclusive education in online learning environments. He is working on analysing the experiences of the main stakeholders involved in learning and teaching in online higher education concerning the inclusion of students with special educational needs in this learning environment.

José Israel is a third-year PhD candidate in the Programme of education and ICT (e-learning). His major is Educational Psychology and now he is working on a project focused on improving the academic support for students with disabilities at the Open University of Catalonia.
