Peñarroja Cabañero, Vicente

Vicente Peñarroja Cabañero holds a doctoral degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia, and holder of a degree in Psychology from the Universitat de València (UV). He obtained the special award for his degree in 2005. 

He has taught courses for the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya's University Master's Degree in Educational Psychology and has supervised final bachelor's degree projects at this University for the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (specialization in Work and Organizational Psychology). He has also taught courses for the Master's Degree in Human Resources Management in Organizations and the Bachelor's Degree in Labour Relations and the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

He has taken part in a number of research projects on ICTs applied to organizations and work. His research has focused mainly on studying the processes and results of work teams who use ICTs to communicate with each other. He is also interested in studying online communities of practice and intergroup conflict as well as service quality in organizations and organizational culture. Aware that organizations are multilevel phenomena, his research also takes into account the different organizational levels.

Currently, he is taking part in a project whose goal is to study how diversity and online training in emotion management impact the well-being of online teams
