Pacheco Bernal, M. Carmen

She has been a member of the teaching staff at the UOC's Faculty of Economics and Business since 2004, where she coordinates courses in marketing, market research, and corporate social responsibility.

Holder of a degree in Market Research and Techniques and in Business Studies from the University of Barcelona. She also holds an Advanced Studies diploma and a doctoral degree in the Information and Knowledge Society, both from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). She has directed the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Market Research since 2014. Previously, her professional experience was related with market research consulting.

Dr Pacheco-Bernal's research focuses on the field of digital marketing and, more specifically, on online and mobile market research. Recently, she has studied the factors that determine the adoption and dissemination of research techniques with mobile devices by the organizations operating in this industry.

 She has also performed R&D activity in the field of online training in education and organizations, and in the assessment of the economic, social and environmental impacts of tourism events.

Her current research interests are focused on responsible marketing and consumption.
