Muñoz Marrón, Elena

A doctoral degree holder in Experimental Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology (accredited by the National Professional Accreditation Commission), throughout her career, Elena Muñoz has combined research, teaching and neuropsychological intervention in patients with brain damage. She currently directs both the Master’s Degree in Neuropsychology and the Cognitive NeuroLab at the UOC's Faculty of Health Sciences.

Her research work focuses on the study of cognitive processes' neural bases through the use of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, and on these techniques' potential in the treatment of pathologies that involve altered brain function.

She is a member of the Cognitive NeuroLab research group, which has AGAUR recognition as a pre-consolidated group (ref. 2017 SGR 273).
