The R&D activities of researcher Glòria Munilla Cabrillana focus on the study of heritage, museology, museography and ICT. Her main research areas are ICT, heritage, teaching and learning; communications, heritage and ICT; scientific museology; and, together with the University of Barcelona's GRAP consolidated research group, safeguarding historical archaeological heritage in armed conflicts.

Study of the documentary archives corresponding to the civil war and early post-war related to the PHA (Historical and Archaeological heritage).
Analysis of the evolution of the concept of PHA protection in 20th century conflicts.
Protection of art as war propaganda in the Spanish civil war.

Study of the relations established between new models and communicative tools on the Internet in the field of heritage:
