Massip Salcedo, Marta

Marta Massip Salcedo holds an official llicenciatura degree in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona, a doctoral degree in Biomedicine from the Department of Biochemistry, Physiological Sciences II of the University of Barcelona and a master’s degree in Clinical Phytotherapy.

She has worked for 14 years as a biomedical researcher in metabolism and liver transplantation at a number of research centres and on European projects in the area of health in the Agency for Healthcare Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (AQuAS). 

She currently combines teaching at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya with the executive management of the Seahorse Food and Beverage Company, of which she is the co-founder, and she collaborates as a new products development consultant for companies in the food sector.
