Researcher Joan Manuel Marquès Puig's R&I work focuses on the development of large-scale distributed systems and on learning systems development.
In particular, it stresses the aspects of decentralization, voluntary computation, privacy and optimization in the use of computational resources as well as the creation of tools to automate distributed systems learning in e-learning environments.
He is a member of the UOC’s Internet Computing & Systems Optimization (ICSO) research group.
