Lladós Masllorens, Josep

Holder of a degree and PhD in Economics and Business Studies as well as a postgraduate diploma in Economics and Territorial Finance Management from the university of Barcelona.

He has held a number of academic management positions at the UOC, including director of the Business Studies programme, manager of the Office of the Vice President for Faculty and Academic Organization, director of the doctoral programme in the Information and Knowledge Society, director of the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) and associate dean of research at the Faculty of Economics and Business.

He is an associate professor and a researcher in the Digital Business Research Group (DigiBiz) at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

His research is focused on three fields:

(1) Economic analysis of online marketplaces and collaborative consumption, with a special focus on the role played by digital platforms and intermediaries.

(2) Study of the interaction between financial literacy and new ventures.

(3) Analysis of the impact of digital technologies on the labour market.
