Lamolla Kristiansen, Laura

Holder of a doctoral degree in Political and Administration Sciences (UAB), a master's degree in International Management (CEMS) and an MBA (ESADE Business School).

She has been a member of the teaching staff at the UOC's Faculty of Economics and Business since 2007 in the fields of entrepreneurship, strategic management and the organization. She is currently academic director of the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management. She has been academic director of the Master's Degree in Business Management (Management of Organizations in the Knowledge Economy) (2011-2015) and coordinator of the Faculty of Economics and Business's postgraduate department (2011-13). Previously, she was a faculty member at ESADE-URL (1999-2006).

Laura Lamolla's research activity centres on the study of gender in organizations, with a particular focus on female executives and entrepreneurs and the ICT industry. 

Accordingly, her research interests are related with the interaction between gender and work-life balance; organizational policies to support gender equality and diversity in general; working women's preferences regarding work time; and the organizational impact of diversity management. 

She has taken part in a number of projects related with gender issues in the ICT industry, talent, gender and entrepreneurship and gender and work time from a management perspective as well as from a sociological and economic viewpoint.
