His research is concerned with communication in organizations, with a particular focus on the communication channelled through internet and, in particular, through the social media. I view communication as a strategic tool at the service of the persuasive capacity of companies, institutions and other organizations in a changing context that is prone to generate crisis situations if the risks are not managed appropriately.
He is a member of the Academic Committee for the UOC's doctoral programme in Education and ICTs (E-learning). I work very actively with the social communication media as a knowledge transfer activity; I am also chief editor of the general interest journal (COMeIN) published by the UOC's Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences since the Faculty's creation.
