She is coordinating professor for courses such as Legal Psychology, Fundamentals of Criminology, Legal and Forensic Medicine, and Sexual Delinquency and Violence, among others. She also gives two courses within the Master's Degree in Cybercrime, related with online victimization.

Her research lines revolve around the quantitative and qualitative study of victimization and devictimization processes (particularly in relationships within couples, families and other significant others) and the analysis of the role played by the criminal justice system with respect to the crime's victim. She also studies criminality related with the new technologies and explores alternative and/or complementary responses to the legal-criminal response that reduce the secondary victimization of the victims who enter the criminal justice system.
