García Solórzano, David

The R&D activities of researcher David García Solórzano focus on the study of the features online learning tools really require to be effective for this environment.

His main research interests are the use of visualisation techniques and new web/mobile technologies for facilitating the teaching-learning process. He also specialises in developing online learning tools aimed, particularly, at students' self-regulation (i.e. time management). Outstanding here is the research into learning dashboards, personal informatics systems and the online teaching of skills related to programming courses. Additionally, he works on improving telecommunications laboratories. 

is a member of the UOC's LAIKA  (The Learning Analytics for Innovation and Knowledge Application in Higher Education) R&D group.
