Currently, UOC faculty member Antonio Fernández García's research activity focuses on the stages prior to the employment contract, specifically in the following three areas: active employment policies, especially the promotion of employment contracts and entrepreneurship for groups with greater difficulties in finding employment; labour intermediary services, recruitment and selection of personnel for private companies, with special emphasis on the use of digital tools; and, finally, the fundamental rights affected by the above, especially the right to non-discrimination, privacy and the protection of personal data.
In this regard, his publications and participation in competitive projects, conferences and workshops are interdisciplinary in nature (labour law, social security, labour relations, human resource management, sociology, etc.), making coordination with the various teams involved an essential component of his work.
He is a member of the UOC's Taxation, Labour Relations and Business (TAXBUSINESS) R&I group.
