Estanyol Casals, Elisenda

She is Academic Director of the University Master's Degree in Corporate Communication, Protocol and Events, and professor at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya's Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences. 

 She holds a doctoral degree from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (the thesis was entitled "The management of creativity in communication and public relations consultancies") and a Master's Degree in Business Communication with a specialization in Digital Technologies from the Barcelona School of Management, Pompeu Fabra University.

Her research activity focuses on the study of new trends in persuasive communication in the information and knowledge society. More specifically, she is interested in topics such as: creativity in public relations, communication in CSR (corporate social responsibility), the new professional practices in corporate communication through social media, event organization and protocol, and the use of gamification techniques in communication campaigns.

She is a member of the UOC's Learning, Media and Entertainment (GAME) research group.
